Exibition Dates April 12-June 11

An experiment in multible functionality, the candle holder/vase (LINK) was one of Joni Tucker’s (LINK) first creations. It was created to combine convenience with style & design with funtion.
The exibition (LINK) will focus on how this idea could inspire many other functional items of multiple uses. We will examine the inspiration, technical design, materials, & products that were inspired by this design.Funding made possible by Design Media & friends.

Candle holder/Vase:
•One unit that serves two functions-designed to save space.
•Two different forms: As a vase, it resembles the shape of a traditional vase-large on the bottom (to hold water) and thinner at the top (to support the plant or flower that it contains). As a candle-holder, it is flipped over to reveal a mushroom form.
•The dimensions are 16cm high X 10 cm wide.
